Frequently asked questions

When can the lessons take place?

I offer flexible course dates.

In general, private classes take place between 18.00 and 22.00h. Private/small group courses can take place during office hours, but must be organised at least 2-3 months in advance (subject to availability).

Courses on site at companies can take place during the office hours.

Online learning?

Yes, I offer online courses (in Microsoft Teams or Zoom)

How is my level determined?

During a brief intake (video call or phone call) or via the contact form/mail you can share your current level or expectations. Before the start of the course the client will receive an assignment to further determine the level and needs. The first class will be based on this info. 

How do we agree on the course planning?

This can be done via mail or a brief video/phone call. The client will receive a detailed planning with the dates and hours agreed upon. If there are any changes to be made, it can be agreed upon in time for the next class (preferably one week in advance).

How long are the classes?

We usually work in classes of 2 or 3 hours. This provides the best results in terms of learning.

How can I pay for the courses?

You will receive an invoice at the beginning of the classes/course and a 50 percent advance must be paid two weeks before the start of the course. The second half of the payment can be done before the last class as per planned course schedule. The client can receive a payment confirmation per installment paid. 

In case for some reason certain classes can not take place, the customer will receive full refund for the classes already paid.

Is the fee including all study materials?

The fee includes regular course material and copies provided by Dutch in Ghent. It does not include additional or suggested course books for further study.
